Li Bin meets vice chairman of CPPCC National CommitteeHo Hau Wah

Li Bin, vice chairwoman of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and chairwoman of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF), recently met with Ho Hau Wah, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, in Macao.

Li Bin thanked Ho Hau Wah for his continuous support to the CSCLF. She then provided a brief overview of the activities held during her visit to Macao, including “A Glimpse of Tang Prosperity from Murals – The Exhibition Tour on Murals of the Tang Dynasty” and the “Master Lectures for Children.” She highlighted the CSCLF's enhanced collaboration with Macao institutions, emphasizing its dual role as both a mass organization and a philanthropic charity organization. She also expressed the intention to further promote exchanges and interactions with Macao's associations, creating platforms for deeper interaction and exchange between young people from mainland and Macao, and fostering a sense of patriotism and love for Macao among them.

Ho Hau Wah extended a warm welcome to Li Bin and her delegation. He emphasized that organizing exchange activities for young people from Macao and the mainland serves to broaden the horizons and knowledge of Macao’s young people, contributing to their growth and development, and ensuring the continued success of the One Country, Two Systems policy.

Also present at the meeting were Shen Beili, vice chairperson of the CSCLF; along with Wu Weishan, director of the National Art Museum of China; Wu Xiangping, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Ye Cong, an oceanaut of the Jiaolong manned deep-sea submersible and chief designer of deep-sea manned submersible Fendouzhe; and Xie Jun, a chess grandmaster and vice president of the International Chess Federation; who are participating in the “Master Lectures for Children” event currently taking place in Macao.
