On April 18, Shen Beili, Vice Chairperson of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation(CSCLF), met with the new principal of the Beijing Japanese School, Shigehiro Murakami, at the China Soong Ching Ling Youth Science and Culture Exchange Center.

Shen Beili talked about the foundation's role in exchanges between China and Japan, emphasizing the unique and important role that people-to-people friendship plays in normalizing, improving, and developing Sino-Japanese relations. The foundation values exchanges with Japan and is willing to work together with various sectors, including the Beijing Japanese School, to enhance mutual understanding and friendly relations between the people of both countries through youth exchange activities between China and Japan.

Principal Shigehiro Murakami thanked the foundation for its long-standing support for the Beijing Japanese School and expressed a desire to continue strengthening cooperation, building platforms, and deepening the understanding and knowledge of China and Beijing among Japanese youth.

Guo Xinbao, Director of the China Soong Ching Ling Youth Science and Culture Exchange Center, and Liu Ying, Deputy Minister of the Funds Department of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, were also present at the meeting.
