Shen Beili, secretary of the Party leadership group and vice chairperson of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF), led a delegation to Shanghai for an inspection tour from April 20-21.

The delegation held a meeting with the China Welfare Institute (CWI), the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Research Association, and the Shanghai Administrative Committee for the Historic Relics of Sun Yat-sen & Soong Ching Ling to discuss the preparations for the upcoming Seminar on Soong Ching Ling and the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation.

The meeting was attended by Xue Chao, president of Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Research Association and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the 14th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, Zhang Xiaomin, secretary of the Party leadership group and vice chairperson of the CWI, and Ni Yifei, secretary of the Party leadership group and director general of Government Offices Administration of Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and head of the Shanghai Administrative Committee for the Historic Relics of Sun Yat-sen & Soong Ching Ling.

Apart from the meeting, the delegation also visited several places, including the Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence, the Soong Ching Ling Kindergarten, Shanghai Soong Ching Ling School (SCLS), and the International Peace Maternity & Child Health Hospital (IPMCH) of CWI.
