The First Lady of Maldives, Fazna Ahmed, visited the China Soong Ching Ling Youth Science and Culture Exchange Center on Jan 11. Shen Beili, vice chairperson of the CSCLF, welcomed the delegation and accompanied them on the visit.
The delegation went to the preschool to learn about early childhood education and interacted warmly with the children.
The delegation also visited the Innovation Space, Montessori Space, and Traditional Chinese Culture Experience Space. In the Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic, Fazna Ahmed showed great interest in weighing medicinal herbs and pounding mugwort, and even handmade moxibustion sticks, experiencing the charm of Traditional Chinese Medicine culture.
At the Lu Ming Hall, the delegation watched the students and teachers perform classic pieces such as "Beijing Welcomes You" and "Jasmine Flower." At the end of her visit, Fathimath Ibrahim wrote in the guestbook, expressing her deep impression of the diverse and enriching youth activities carried out by the China Soong Ching Ling Youth Science and Culture Exchange Center. These activities will effectively promote international youth exchanges and enhance the cultural literacy of young people. Many experiences and practices are worth learning from.
