China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) Vice Chairman Yu Qun met with a delegation led by Mongolian National Olymipic Committee (MNOC) President Battushig Batbold at the foundation's office on May 10.
On behalf of the CSCLF, Yu warmly welcomed Mr. Batbold's visit and recalled the exchange and cooperation between the foundation and Mongolia. Emphasizing the strong relationship between China and Mongolia as good neighbors, friends, and partners, Yu expressed the foundation's commitment to collaborating with the MNOC to strengthen cultural exchanges. Yu believed that active youth sports exchanges would further enhance mutual understanding and foster friendly relations between the people of both nations, particularly the youth.
Battushig Batbold expressed his gratitude to Yu for the meeting and affirmed the MNOC's willingness to strengthen cooperation with the foundation and actively participate in more sports exchange activities. He also expressed his desire for the collaboration to provide more opportunities for youth exchanges between Mongolia and China, thereby promoting people-to-people friendship between the two countries.
Battushig Batbold's visit was made in response to an invitation from the Chinese Olympic Committee. The meeting was attended by Song Jian, director of the Fund Department of CSCLF, Fang Xinwen, deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of CSCLF, and relevant officials from the International Department of the General Administration of Sport of China.
