Yu Qun, vice chairman of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF), met with the delegation led by Dr. Ven Tan, chairman of the Australian Soong Ching Ling Foundation (ASCLF) at the China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People (CSCLSCC) on March 28.

Yu Qun welcomed Dr. Ven Tan's visit and participation in the "Junior Cultural Ambassador" award ceremony and other events. He congratulated the winners of the Australian "Junior Cultural Ambassador" and expressed gratitude to the ASCLF for their long-time supporting of CSCLF's activities related to China-Australia youth exchanges. Yu emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation and promote the lofty spirit of Soong Ching Ling to enhance friendship between China and Australia through youth exchange activities.

Dr. Ven Tan expressed the desire to strengthen contact and cooperation with CSCLF. He also highlighted the importance of promoting Australia-China non-governmental exchanges and carrying forward the spirit of Soong Ching Ling.

The delegation visited Former Residence of Soong Ching Ling and CSCLSCC, and held discussions with CSCLF. Fang Xinwen, deputy director general of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of CSCLF, Su Hongtao, deputy director of CSCLSCC, and Hu Tanglin, deputy director of Soong Ching Ling Former Residence Management Center, were among the participants.
