The China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) Honda Dreams Fund organized a mid-year assessment to learn about what participants of the fund think of its goals.
The assessment started on Aug 3 and lasted three days. During this period, participants of the fund took part in a tree-planting activity.

The assessment was designed by the Honda Dreams Fund to learn about how participants were making use of the fund and how they planned to pursue their dreams.
Judges will offer instructions to help participants address challenges they are facing.

Participants traveled to Xinghe county, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, to plant trees along with Honda employees.
After the tree-planting activity, participants visited the Palace Museum in Beijing.

Background
The CSCLF Honda Dreams Fund was founded in 2017 to provide financial support for young people from low-income families to help them realize their dreams.
Sixteen youth were selected to participate in the first and second phases of the program over the past two years.
The fund arranged for participants to take part in the Consumer Electronics Show Asia (CESA), a Honda factory in Taicang city, and the Soong Ching Ling Former Residence.
