This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 12th anniversary of the founding of the Mingyuan Welfare Fund.

The summer camp was meant to instill patriotism among teenagers and teach them to play the recorder.

On the afternoon of July 19, the summer camp's performance was held. Tang Jiuhong, deputy secretary-general of CSCLF, Chen Yuan, chairwoman of the Mingyuan Welfare Fund, and Ma Mingzhe, trustee of the Mingyuan Welfare Fund, attended the performance.
