CSCLF invites Japanese musician to give public lecture

  A public lecture organized by the CSCLF Kawai Music Welfare Fund took place at the China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People from July 14 to 15.

  The China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) invited Morohara Yasuyo, a well-known educator and pianist in Japan, to deliver a lecture on educational methods for new music education.

  In her lecture, Morohara discussed how musical education is conducted at Japanese schools and shared her musical education philosophies.

  She said that musical education is not just about teaching students how to play, but also encouraging them to imagine and feel.
