


A ceremony marking the founding of the Sunshine Fund by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) and the China Everbright Bank was held in Beijing on the morning of June 21.
Wang Jiarui, chairman of the CSCLF, Jing Dunquan, vice-chairman of CSCLF, Li Xiaopeng, chairman of the China Everbright Bank, and Ge Haijiao, president of the China Everbright Bank, attended the ceremony.

Before the ceremony started, Wang Jiarui met with Li Xiaopeng and introduced him to the mission and principles of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation.
He said that the founding of the Sunshine Fund is the beginning of a new partnership between CSCLF and the China Everbright Bank.
Wang said he looked forward to cooperating in other areas as well.

Li thanked Wang for CSCLF's trust in the China Everbright Bank and vowed to carry out more cooperation with CSCLF.

The Sunshine Fund will be used to improve teaching conditions in underdeveloped areas and carry out welfare programs to promote traditional Chinese culture.

Background
The Sunshine Fund will be aimed at improving teaching conditions in underdeveloped areas, helping teachers and students from low-income families, and promoting traditional Chinese culture.
The fund is also open to donations from other organizations or individuals.
