CSCLF Vice Chairman Jing Dunquan Meets Founder of Schiller Institute

On May 16, CSCLF Vice Chairman Jing Dunquan met with a delegation led by Helga Zepp-LaRouche, founder of Schiller Institute. 

Jin welcomed the delegation to attend the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. He said the full success of the forum is of great significance in the world’s history. President Xi illustrated the profound implications of the Belt and Road spirit, proposed to build the Silk Road into a road for peace, of prosperity, opening up, innovation and a road connecting different civilizations, announced China’s policy measures regarding the Initiative, thereby guiding countries to enhance cooperation and realize joint development. Deepening people-to-people exchange is an important part of the Initiative. CSCLF wishes to enhance cooperation with Schiller Institute, build a bridge between peoples and consolidate people’s support for the initiative.

Madame Helga Zepp-LaRouche said that President Xi’s Belt and Road Initiative has gained extensive support from all countries. China’s assistance to developing countries’ development projects boosts local economic and social development, as well as infrastructure, which pushes forward global poverty alleviation. Europe and U.S. also become increasingly conscious of the essence of the Initiative and its significance to the future of all human beings. As an organization committed to cultural dialogue and people-to-people exchanges, Schiller Institute is ready to join hands with the CSCLF to carry forward the Belt and Road Initiative.
