2021 CSCLF-China Open Cherity Fund Tibet Program Starts

In the afternoon of 9 November, 2021, CSCLF-China Open Charity Fund announced the start of its 2021 Tibet Program at National Tennis Center in Beijing and Sports and Training School of Tibet Autonomous Region.

The removable tennis court donated by CSCLF-China Open Charity Fund was put into use in Sports and Training School of Tibet. Coach Wen Liyuan, former tennis player of the national team, gave an online open class for students in Beijing and Tibet.

Representatives from China Open, Sports Administration of Tibet Autonomous Region, Tibet Tennis Association, and Sports and Training School of Tibet attended related activities. Professional tennis players such as Zhu Lin, Liu Siyu and Lu Jingjing expressed their wishes for the students through video.

Background:

“Tennis Development Fund for Youth” (currently known as “China Open Charity Fund”) was established by CSCLF and China Open in 2011 to polularize and promote tennis among youth.

In the past decade, the Fund has organized a series of programs to facilitate exchange among youth engaged in the game of tennis from home and abroad. The Tibet Program was launched in 2019.
