Lecture for the Future / Classic Chinese Poem Recitation Program was Launched

  Inspiring the future with classics

  On 1st September, China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) and the Audio Reading Committee of China Federation of Radio and Television Association will jointly launch the Classic Chinese Poem Recitation Program.

  100 artists will recite and appreciate 100 classic Chinese poems to help young people enrich their understanding of traditional Chinese culture and build up cultural confidence.

  The program, targeted at children aged 6-12 at home and abroad, aims to promote traditional Chinese culture, build up cultural confidence and nurture talents for the new era.

  On each work day since 1st September, the WeChat channel of CSCLF and the Audio Reading Committee of China Federation of Radio and Television Association will push one classic Chinese poem.

  The posts will also be synchronized to xuexi.cn, xinhuanet.com, ximalaya.com and other new media platforms.

  Hang Yuanxiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice Chairman of CSCLF; Tian Jin, Vice Chairman of China Federation of Radio and Television Association; and Wang Qiu, Director of the Audio Reading Committee, addressed the launching ceremony of the program.

  The content of each post include: the original text of the poem, the introduction of the author and the appreciation of the poem.

  The texts will be drafted by Feng Qingcheng, CSCLF Council member, famous poet and columnist from Macau.
