In the evening of 12 Jan, CSCLF vice chairman Jing Dunquan visited Japanese Ambassador to China Tarumi Hideo. The two sides exchanged ideas on the current global situation, China-Japan relations and practical cooperation between the two countries.
Jing Dunquan expressed his congratulations to Tarumi Hideo for becoming the new Japanese Ambassador to China. According to Jing Dunquan, a stable relation between the two countries featuring friendship and cooperation is crucial to the peace and development of Asia and the world. In the future, China will continue to promote high-quality development and seek for new opportunities to facilitate friendly exchange and win-win cooperation between the two countries. CSCLF is willing to cooperate with Japan to jointly promote people-to-people exchange and cultural communication, especially for youth.

CSCLF has made great contributions to promoting friendly exchange and cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, Tang Jiuhong, vice secretary-general of CSCLF; Chen Aimin, director of the department of international cooperation and exchange of CSCLF; and Song Jian, director of the department of fund of CSCLF, exchanged ideas with representatives of the Japanese Embassy in China to seek for more opportunities for cooperation.
